On March 9, 2024, Hickman Lowder held another session of our webinar, Trustee School: Administering a Special Needs Trust.  It was hosted by Attorneys Ethan A. Welch, George O. Aljoe, and Helen L. Rapp.  A recording of this presentation is now available for viewing at https://youtu.be/Zf4Dva_HrNM.

Hickman Lowder is dedicated to ensuring that the trusts that we draft for your family members with special needs are successfully administered by your chosen trustees. This includes educating your trustees so they are knowledgeable, understand their responsibilities, and are prepared to administer the trust you have established. We offer semi-annual sessions of trustee school to our clients that cover the following topics: trustee responsibilities, including taxation and reporting requirements; government benefits basics and how trust administration can impact those benefits; and using care managers to ensure quality of life.
